I MET SOMEONE SHORTER THAN CHEN MUN!!

IMG_1475

What do you think? I stoop so low for height accommodation and I'm still taller.

Sorry Chen Mun! :D Muahahahaha.

New quilt covers

So I bought new quilt covers...

Moulin Rouge Bed

Moulin Rouge quilt covers. *growls* Of course, I put on my sexy lingerie, and started making random animal poses on my bed - and NO I did not take any photos.

Nick likies it too!

IMG_0959 IMG_0958 With the woollen socks his grandmother made for him. It's so sweet!

And then I vomited over my sheets due to a mix of chivas and sheesha, and Paul helped me make my bed. :D

IMG_0960

Maluga boys pamper me.

I made curry, and it was goooooood

Chicken Curry Take 1 (2)

Need I say more?

Oh yeah, I used a pre mixed paste. =D

Devina hates walking

IMG_0628

Well now that I have a car, I don't have to deal with this God forsaken road anymore. See that curve at the end of the road? That's normally what kills me, walking back from Uni. This is me walking back, looking ahead to my imminent death, and deciding to take a picture to document my misery.

It was a very intriguing lecture Part 3

This is for Torts.

Image005

First lecture of the semester. I tried to listen, I swear! But she's a horrible lecture!

All I got was, negligence = breach of duty of care by act or omission, injuring another person.

Then played tic tac toe and hangman with Jeffrey. :D If you take the time to open up the picture and zoom, you'll see how Jeffrey was 'hanged' cause he couldn't guess that the 'Feeling' was BRAIN DEAD.

Segregation in the airports

Flying back to Hobart from Brisbane...

I needed to pee, and was started craning my neck around looking for the toilets. I saw a door right in front of me, got up, and quickly sat back down.

Image024

I know, stupid, but it was early. I ACTUALLY thought you ACTUALLY had to be a virgin to go into the bathroom, and they would check me if I went in or something.

3 seconds later of course, I realised it was like, Virgin AIRLINES' toilet kinda thing. But I was far too paranoid and embarrassed to go anymore.

Fantastic parking skills

Image059

Now, I know you won't believe me but... I DIDN'T PARK THIS.

We walked away, I took a glance back and stopped.

Paul, "... BAH forget it."

It was a very intriguing lecture Part 2

This one's for Criminal Law, before exams, sitting with my fellow country man, Ibsen.

Image023

Image022

Naturally, I quickly lost interest and took to uh... decorating Ibsen's arm. He does it to himself all the time! I thought I'd take it upon myself to make my mark too.

I particularly like where I boxed the area he kept scratching, labeled it Itchy, and arrowed 'Scratch Here!' :D

Image021

It was a very intriguing lecture

Sitting right at the back in the utmost corner of the lecture theatre gives you a bird's eye view to everything... Like your very studious fellow classmates who are vigorously taking notes.

 Image014

Wait, wait, look closer...

Image013

Of course, needless to say I wasn't being that fantastic myself, discreetly taking photos of others! Won't be able to do that with my new N95i, seeing as it has a very loud click sound, imitating that of an actual camera.

It's all about keeping yourself occupied

My gong gong passed away in April, and I flew back to see my family and attend the funeral.

Hung around with my sister's friends during the wake and ate peanuts...Image009

...and decorated. Pretty huh? Now imagine the WHOLE table just covered in it. This was just some we did after my brother came and swept the table clean, dumping our hard work into the trash.

MY BABY

You've heard of her, and now I show you her.

Image006 IMG_0890

:D Don't mind the price tag on the second photo - that was when we took her out for a test drive.

Still haven't named her. Ah she's such a beauty she breaks my heart...

My First Fine

Okay, maybe not my car's first fine, but that was Jaq's stupidity that did it, not me. We were sitting right by the car, blocked by a stupid slab or concrete, and our dear friend here said he would get the parking voucher for the car. As time went by, he didn't move, while I kept fruitlessly trying to crane my neck to see my car, if any parking attendant was coming by. Couldn't see, and Jaq didn't seem worried, so I stopped fussing. We went back, and there on my windscreen was a bloody ticket, for being like a half hour over. AND WE WERE SITTING RIGHT THERE. At least he very rightfully paid for it.

But anyway, I still consider this MY first fine. Rushing for one hour Criminal Law lecture, and just couldn't find any parking. Was so annoyed that there was so much space for the permit holders, but the general parking was completely full. So I thought, just 50mins, so parked in a permit spot and ran for class. Came back and there was a soaked ticket on my windscreen. Sigh...

My Easter Bunny

After I came back from Melbourne where I got the chance to see (but hardly join after a full body ache from 5hours of training after a year of absence!) Filhos da Bahia's batizado, I was craving Easter eggs (yes, I realise that was in March and it's June now!)

So a mention to Jaq... and then I happened to look at this egg that was for sale and looked for a moment too long.

IMG_0561

Apparently Hillie's is awesome chocolate. I wouldn't know though - it's still sitting on my table. Sayang to open. Hehe. Damn nice packaging! And it's huge!

Does God look to the back of toilet doors?

Other than all the hate and confused religious and anti-abortion stuff, I still find this funny.

Toilet Door

Hehehehehe.... In the law faculty toilet some more...

CAMRY?!?!

Rented a car for a day to get some shopping done in preparation for the winter. Was fun getting driven around, and did some driving too. Went up Mount Nelson twice - haha.

Booked a Corolla or similar, went there, and we got the Toyota Camry! Jaq and I got so excited we started laughing at each other like cows.

IMG_0759

The end of my driveway. I find it dodgy that you can see the top of your car from the top of your driveway - just illustrates the impossible slope of a driveway I have to deal with when I go home.

IMG_0763 IMG_0765 IMG_0766 IMG_0771 IMG_0772

Stupid fool trying to look cool...

IMG_0774 IMG_0777  IMG_0778 IMG_0779

Then stupid fool insisted on forgoing with the jacket because he "doesn't need it now that we have the car." Naturally, dumbass got cold and ran back to the car.

IMG_0785IMG_0813

Second time up Mount Nelson.

IMG_0814

This time, we dragged the boys out as well. :D

Hong Kong Day 4

Last day in Hong Kong...

IMG_0182 IMG_0180

Woke up early and went to the Ladies Market before anything was even opened. Got to walk around and have a feel for the hustle and bustle as they were getting set up. Almost got speared by some of those long lethal metal structures.

IMG_0183 IMG_0184 IMG_0185 IMG_0186

Wanted to buy new shoes because seriously, I love my boing boings, but they gotta go.

IMG_0188 IMG_0190 IMG_0192 IMG_0194

So bought me a new pair of New Balance! IMG_0196IMG_0200

Cannot close my damn suitcase... Not like I did THAT much shopping... IT WAS ALL MY SISTER'S STUFF!IMG_0201 IMG_0202 IMG_0203

Bloody guy messed up my booking for the shuttle bus to the airport... So I had to take a cab. Expensive ah... Then reached there, and still had to wait half an hour before I could check in. Damn it, and I thought I was late, so damn scared!IMG_0204

Hong Kong Day 3

Oh in case you were wondering, Day 3 was 18 January 2008. :D

IMG_0127IMG_0129

 IMG_0141 IMG_0142  IMG_0144 IMG_0145  IMG_0147 IMG_0148 IMG_0149 IMG_0150 IMG_0151 IMG_0152  IMG_0154 IMG_0155 IMG_0156 IMG_0157 IMG_0158  IMG_0160 IMG_0161 IMG_0162 IMG_0163 IMG_0164    IMG_0168 IMG_0169   IMG_0172 IMG_0173  IMG_0175 IMG_0176 IMG_0177 IMG_0179 IMG_0132   IMG_0135 IMG_0136 IMG_0137 IMG_0138

Argh, too many photos to provide commentary. Plus, I'm trying to do my assignment. If you wanna know, come and talk to me.

Hong Kong Day 2

Okay, I AM SO SORRY!

I forgot to upload photos of my Hong Kong trip, other than the first day.

The only reason I forgot is because I didn't take that many photos. And when you go on holiday alone, you're not in any of the photos.

IMG_0111

I kid you not, ice skating rink in the damn shopping centre.IMG_0117

Met my sister and her friend (whose name escapes me now, 2 months after the trip) for dinner, and this was the SALAD. We went to the one American portion restaurant in the whole place.IMG_0121

Sleeping...

Like a human.

09092007080 16092007082

Hehehehehehehehehhehehehehe!

BEN & JERRY'S!

If I'm not wrong, this was Deepavali and my Aunt's place. Dinner with the cousins.

Anand had bought 4 pints of ice cream.

Then Jarrod came and announced he had bought 4 pints of ice cream.

After ALL the curry, we just couldn't wait to digest fully to dig into the ice cream, so we started calling for ice cream like just 20minutes after eating.

And THIS appeared.

ice-cream

Look closer...

ben n jerry's

I don't know HOW we did it, but we managed to have EIGHT DIFFERENT FLAVOURS OF BEN & JERRY'S ICE CREAM!!!

Jealous, jealous?

End of Exams Dinner!

Yes, yes, I realise I should be scolded and whipped for ALWAYS taking SO LONG to update. To the extent that I'm posting about dinner we had after exams, and I'm already starting school in Australia.

IN MY DEFENCE, this dinner was in January! So it's not THAT bad...

SANY7258

Had dinner with the part-time class (near school some more, glutton for punishment) at Fish & Co. Shalini appeared! With her kids! Whee so great to see her.

Dad allowed me to take the car, which was cool. I left the house in a very confident manner just to show him nothing to worry about - got in the car and was all, "crap, how do I get to Audrey's place?!"

To sum it up... I didn't REALLY get lost. I mean, I knew where I was, it was just which SIDE I was on. So like, I was on the wrong end picking up Audrey... then we took the wrong exit to dinner (supposed to exit Dhoby Ghaut we happy happy took Orchard exit)... then we went to my gong gong's place after to pick up my mum... and went down the wrong end too.

It was fun, though! At least I didn't scratch the car this time.

Nemo Stamps!

Yes, I bought Nemo stamps online.

What can I say, they're cute!

Nemo Stamps Nemo Stamps (1) Nemo Stamps (2)Nemo Stamps (3)

Bye Max!

Since Beamy has passed away, we've let Max out to the front, which he absolutely loves. So much that at the end of the night, the boy doesn't wanna go back behind. So cute. Make dunno only when we call him.

The cute thing is, he now gets to see us when we leave, instead of the poor fella being stuck behind, cannot see anybody. But ayioh so heartbreak la! It now takes us longer to drive away because he'll come and stare at you with one sad face, like, "Where are you going without me?"

   Image003Image002

He got quite excited cause I came back to take this photo... Haha.

Image001

It was a REALLY hot day, and my clever boy knows to sit in the shade. Haha!

Sleepy heads

Hehehehehehehehehe.

'Nuff said.

Oh by the way, CLASSIFIED INFORMATION. Whatever you do, do not let this photo get into the hands of my mother!

My best friend

It's no secret I only have 2 groups of really close friends, Audrey & Chen Mun etc., the group from Secondary School, and then Farhan & Mei Yen.

This is a post dedicated to Farhan.

I'm sure you've seen the earlier post about his damn Beemer. I've gotten over it. Now I would just like to support his self humiliation.

FIRST OF ALL, WAS THIS.
Yes, he's CHUN LI.

Then most recently, WAS THIS.
He's Blossom.

I worry.

Beamy... my baby boy...

Well, my friends, my dear Beamy has passed on.

He had some kind of disease that screwed up his balance, made him nauseous etc., and he couldn't walk. We found him in the morning lying in his urine because he couldn't get to the garden. My poor dear.

Vet said it's a disease that targets old dogs, and should go away after 1-3 days. After the third day, we made a decision and put him down.

For all your weird sleeping positions my dear...

Under the shoe cabinet in our new house...

the end of the driveway one morning...

and sleeping so still, i can put a jasmine behind your ear. :)

love you.

Snickers

This ad is gone now of course, but I stared at it for a good month I think, whenever I went to work, or going back after lunch.

I never really fancied snickers, but my God, that's some fabulous advertising. I wanted it so badly everytime I saw that ad.

Thankfully, I'm stronger than that, and never succumbed!

To everything else of course, but not to the snickers! I refuse to bow down to propoganda!

Singapore Exchange

My boss does a lot of bonds stuff with the Singapore Exchange, so once in a while if we're rushing to make a submission and we don't wanna wait for our despatch, Salleh, I end up taking a walk.

The escalator up to the mail room... is looooong...

This is me already 1/3 the way down (yes I was going down, because I was too stunned on my way up to think quickly and take out my camera. Not that you would be able to tell a difference. I could turn around and take a shot.), after fumbling with my phone, taking it out and turning on the camera and stuff. Very very very fun.

Present from Ms. Chia

Ms. Chia went to... okay, somewhere in Malaysia, and came back with this for me. Thank you Ms. Chia!

It's pretty, but I realise how the office people think I'm a sweet gentle girl who likes sweet delicate things.

It's quite funny.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, I was marking off the dates till my referral exam for Criminal Law.

Eeyore Coffee Mug!

Got my own coffee mug! And it's cute! And huge! And purple! And with Eeyore!

I swear my desk is a HELL lot neater now.

Nasty Cut

Working in an office is hazardous - ask Chen Mun.

Blood wouldn't stop flowing even though I kept mopping it up.

Letter of Confirmation

I am confirmed staff!

Finished my 3 months of probation, and got called into Gwen's (office manager) office. I thought I screwed up something for accounts again, but she handed me the envelope, which contained my letter of confirmation.

I bounced back to Ms. Chia and started waving it in front of her face.

"Guess what!"

"Oh, right. Your letter of termination."

"Wow, you're funny."

WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!

Was driving by one day (or specifically, 11 November 07) and decided to drop by my home and see how it was.

Was with Adrian, and the only thing he noticed was the amount of crap, and the barricades.

But I saw something, "What the hell is that?! Oh my God, it's a face!"

"You mean the rubbish?"

"Dude, NO. Look!"

It's a DOG.

Told everyone, and my sister and brother went back to take a look some days later. She told me they got down and went to take a closer look. Apparently there was shit everywhere. And the poor dog's face was half covered with flies. We didn't know what to do about it - whether to call the police and SPCA or something. Sigh, my beautiful home.

MOVED

Oops! I don't think I've posted about my move.

Finally left 54 Jalan Pergam, for 45 Riverina Crescent.

The house was so empty, every movement I made had an echo. I only came back and saw it at night cause I was at the new house, and could only come back at night when we came to get Beamy. And dinner.

The only thing we left behind was the curtains, and my wardrobe. Sigh...

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve and my Uncle Subhas's birthday.

First, was rushing stuff at work, cause we were all leaving at 12plus to go to Manhattan Fish Market for lunch. My boss was rushing to send out Christmas e-cards, but when the girl who was helping us out (Ms. Chia's friend's daughter) finally got a computer going (i.e., MY computer, because everything else went haywire so I graciously gave mine up), it's WAS 12plus. I ended up taking the whole list home and doing it from home, rushing it out before my family was supposed to leave at 6plus for my Uncle Subhas's place. Of course, the damn site was a bitch. Took me hours to finish it. But my family waited patiently - thank you!

Was fun at my Uncle Subhas's place. My Aunty Vimi is a GREAT cook. Oh man... There was turkey, and ham, and roast chicken, and pasta, and all kinds of vegetables. The food was FANTASTIC. Thankfully, from that night, she promised to hand over some of her receipes and teach me how to cook, since poor me will be going to Australia and will cry for Singapore's food. She has - will be trying my hand this weekend I suppose. Anybody brave to test? Doctor will be at the table. :)

Anyhoo, to round off the night - brother spilt root beer on my Aunty Vimi's rug. My youngest cousin Sujesh got a hell beating from my dad about his earrings - apparently we're all waiting for him to come out of the closet (APPARENTLY, according to my father). Dad himself was wasted, which was why he was being so mean. Uncle Subhas was going on and on about how he almost DIDN'T make it to 60, which creeped me out. Mum got drunk too, and was asleep on the massage chair when it struck midnight, and we were all popping noisemakers and blowing those loud trumpt blasted things and shouting Merry Christmas! and Happy Birthday! And she was in a corner snoring.

My brother was falling asleep. My sister WAS asleep. My parents were drunk. It was up to poor me to drive everyone home, including a friend of Uncle Subhas'. Dropped him off at his place, which was like a CASTLE. Turns out the guy is like smokin rich. It was like a condo, only, IT WAS A HOUSE. He had like his own basement carpark. "Can fit 20 cars." "20 cars?!" "Oh no, we only have around 10." "Oh, only. That's okay then."

Was falling asleep at the wheel, which was NOT cool. So was blinking rapidly to stay awake. Otherwise it was slow blinking, which I would then definitely fall asleep, or if I kept my eyes open, I would fall asleep... with my eyes open.

Made it home with everyone safe and secure, save for a moment on the expressway where I got terrified for a moment because the lorry in front of me was weaving like crazy. Driver was falling asleep too. Thankfully, he was only going at 50. Unfortunately, he was on the left lane, so with all his weaves, it kept appearing like he was making an exit, just to weave back halfway onto middle lane, then weave back onto the road shoulder.

Yikes.

Christmas Tree

Okay, gonna try and do a bit of updating!

We received a Christmas Tree!

Gorgeous thing... The whole house was strong with the smell of pine, so much that my eyes were watering. The fantastic thing was - we didn't even pay for it! Someone gave it to my dad.

In relation to the fan, the doorway, and... well... the tv, I guess you can tell how BIG it is.

The day we got it, I obviously ran out (well, more like slouched over to Raffles City after gruelling capoeira class) and bought more than $200 worth of decorations, and decorated the tree on that night itself. Dad's orders - family was coming over the next day for my Granny's pooja.

Decorated by myself, although a certain Chinese boy with an American slang might tell you he helped. But onlookers (ahem, EVERYONE ELSE) will tell you the truth - sometimes, you're more a hindrance than a help!

Day 1

Yes, yes, I know it has been forever since I updated. Again, my computer is full of photos I've wanted to uploaded but never found the time.

But now I'm on holiday! Few have been told, but here I am in Hong Kong! My sister is here on work, so hey! Free accommodation.

Flight was at 6.20am, so I woke up at 4am. Dad insisted on sending me, no matter how many times I said I'll take a taxi. Insisted on coming in with me. Sigh... so cute. My sister couldn't stop shaking her head. My dad still looks at me like a baby. It's sweet.... when it's sweet. Other time it's just - stop nagging!

Hehe, poor fella was falling asleep at the wheel, though.

Boo boo 1: My sister told me the weather was okay - not so cold. And if my sister says it's not so cold, it should be perfect weather for me. So I packed one small jacket that's more trendy than warming, and like 3 long sleeved shirts, 2 jeans, couple of socks, that's it. As we were touching down... I distinctly heard the captain say, "11 degrees celsius." Now that wouldn't be so bad if not for -

Boo boo 2: I did not have my jacket on me. I had my suit case (which was practically empty), a duffel bag, and my laptop bag with only my laptop in it. My dad told me to merge into one bag, then pack in one bag. So i dug through my duffel bag, took out my phone, wallet etc. then packed in my duffel bag into my suitcase, with my jacket inside. I thought if it's cold, I can just dig it out after I pick up my suitcase. Now that wouldn't be so bad if not for -

Boo boo 3: I'm flying by Jetstar. Hell I saved $200, but they didn't go to the airport. We were dropped like far far from the terminal, and had to get on a bus that took us to the terminal. Those were like freezing 30 seconds before I got on the bus. But we reached the terminal, so it's okay. It was freezing cold, my lips were blue, but I have a jacket. In my suitcase. I just had to collect it. Now that wouldn't be so bad if not for -

Boo boo 4: I had locked my duffel bag in my suitcase. Guess where the keys were? Yep, in the damn duffel bag!! Now that wouldn't be so bad if not for -

Boo boo 5: I was an hour away from the hotel. Took the shuttle bus, which thank God was warm inside. But the damn bus driver dropped me in the corner of the street, and I had no idea it was my stop, so I don't know why he was so peeved I didn't know it was my stop. I thought he was dropping me in front of the hotel! Turned out he was supposed to - my sister saw where I was dropped off and kept saying the bus driver was mean.

So took my key from front desk, dropped off my stuff, and thank God the staff had like this big plier wrench thingy and broke my lock. So I bundled up, took my money, and went in search for lunch! I wanted authentic Hong Kong food (which is why I avoided the Burger King at the airport), like char siew wan ton mee.

Everything looked weird though - couldn't tell what everything was by the pictures. And all the places were full, and people inside were staring at me, so I was afraid to go inside.

It became that my first lunch was -

Boo boo 6: Krispy Kreme donut.

Sigh.

Spent a fair bit.

Boo boo 7: Met my sister who took me to a local place, so finally had my wan ton mee. Then, I dunno why, we decided to go and have dessert. GOOD dessert, but COLD dessert none the less. And my God... why did we do it, when it was such a chilly night?!

Anyway, going out now to take the MTR and travel far and do more shopping. On my own for afternoons while sister's at work, then we'll grab dinner and quickly come back to the hotel for hot water. Haha.

Is fun. Will put up more photos!

"Good morning, Goodwins Law Corporation."

guess who got a jo-ob?

Devina is now Secretary to Corporate Director, and being paid quite nicely for it.

and of course, when you have a sweet friend, this is what happens.

after!

thanks Saracura.
and it's back to the morning breakfast of Old Chang Kee - mee fen and sausage. it used to be from Sengkang MRT whilst working at Sentosa, now it's at Pasir Ris. aahhh.
plus, you know you're doing a good job when you're staying late on your first week, and the hallway is dark.

Happy 70th Aunty Su

Aunty Su's 70th birthday at the China Club.

so, we need to buy her 12 red roses. i bring Adrian to the market to get it, to SHOW him that you can spend less on an entire bouquet of roses in a market, then some stem in a shop.

so we bought this beautiful arrangement, which my Aunty loved, which just made me swell inside.

predictably, at the shop, there were these purple flowers i couldn't keep my eyes off, and Adrian chased me away and bought me a bouquet.

which of course, sparked the comment from my dad when he came home and found them on the table - "aww for me?"

DO NOT SIT

hahahahahahahaha

the first of its kind.

and in Little India, in case you were wondering.

Lost Dog

Please help me find my dog, otherwise i can't eat and sleep.

Happy 19th Skin

and it is Chen Mun's 19th birthday. Audrey and i surprised her with a brownie cake from Mrs. Fields, my favourite lady. had to go early, buy the cake, and bring it to Marina Square. and i realised that when i was walking around looking for Breeks, that Chen Mun herself was there, walking towards City Hall to meet me. so i called her, found out where she was and made her come back.

on the pretense of asking for the bill on my way back from the 'loo' (where i tried calling the restaurant but the line was busy), i asked one of the waiters if he could help with the cake i had hid there earlier.

they came out 5 minutes later. first the AC went off. i felt it, cause i was freezing, and suddenly the air was so still. great thinking guys. then the lights started going off, and we were like, "eh, black out ah?" then the whole service staff came out carrying the cake and holding a paper up to the candles so no stray wind would blow them out. they were walking so slowly, they finished the song halfway across the restaurant. conveniently, we were all the way at the end of the restaurant. so that was an awkward funny moment.

we went to City Space, at Swissotel, the bar on the 70th floor (you know, Equinox?) we went to the loo first and it was pweety.
the singer at the bar sang Chen Mun a happy birthday song.

"So happy birthday to you girl... haha look at you so cute... how old are you, 14?!"

*Audrey and Devina beside themselves with laughter*

Happy Birthday Shortay.

*oh and yeah! guess who got a hair cut on the day of her last paper? it's been exactly a month and it's grown.

2 more months...

and it's bye bye home...

cry with me.

my darling number 54... and my black and white gate which has been there forever.

the mango tree in the back garden...

my darling lovely front garden. sigh the new home hardly has any greenery. and only a front area! no back area.

the road i remember. my sidewalk. and the place i've gotten used to parking the car in.

the swingset we got recently, where the swing actually faced the house because otherwise the entrance would be on the otherside of the swing. it also allowed us to hook up a fence thingy to keep Beamy in the back and away from Granny and ma. no more yelling of, "Go to your corner!" back then he could hear and obeyed. also, the swing's can't be used since the wooden seat broke. you've seen photos of my brother.

no more big room for my darling Beamy... *whine whine* ah la la sayang...

Folding... Folding...

holidays are upon me again, a month of which has gone by, severly and thoroughly enjoyed.

now i'm generally up till 4am every day, and of late, eating all the cadbury chocolates in the world (seriously Cheeks, stop buying them!), and watching House (thanks, baby) on DVD.

of the episodes i've already seen? i've taken to the renewed attempt at finishing the pack of coloured paper, carefully folding them into beautiful cranes, via the art of Japanese origami. you guys are geniuses.

and in one night, i realised i've sidetracked and missed episodes to fold the cranes instead, and decided to stop after the fingers are tender.

for one night, it's a lot. seriously. honestly. you try it. it's so intricate! why i had to buy the small paper...

and in case you were wondering...

what Adrian looked like?

well first of all, the joy of dating a Yankee (yeah yeah okay born in HK, raised in Virginia, but still a Yankee!) is that he's so not gadget friendly, which allows you to snap photos of him without him realising that that function was a camera, and not a mirror.
and allows me to inform you that the answer is....

a chinese Shrek.

Gabriel Iglesias, "Eiya Martha, Martha, look at that chubby boy - he looks like Shrek ah? All he needs are the antennas and the donkey, that's it!"

Happy Birthday Cadbury Girl

so what was supposed to be a birthday dinner for Adrian becomes a date and birthday celebration for me, even though his birthday is a month later than mine.

and Adrian has a present for me even though i had nothing for him.

the box is purple. it has Tinker Bell on it. it's filled with cadbury chocolate.

what can i say? it's a guy after my very heart.

daddy's old sunnies

the sunglasses my brother gave me fell apart, so my dad brought it to this shop to fix it, but not in time for my brother's POP, which was hella early in the morning. so my dad told me he had some sunnies i could use.

one of which was really really old. and i was adamant in not wearing it.

"why, what's wrong with it? cool, what."

and he liked it so much, he subconsciously kept it on whilst watching the tv.

life's never boring in this household.
